My car is a 1996 Honda Civic EX 120k mile. Although this is a matured car I have need of it to last me throughout college and so on.
I hold been researching around and I read that in attendance are some parts you can replace for better MPG such as intake and air filter. I want to know any recommended brands, experiences, facts, opinion on how to keep my civic running longer and better. Should I start using premium unleaded gas? or every so habitually?
Answers: yeah if you get an aem intake beside a k&n air filter you will go and get some more hp and also increase your gas mileage. make sure you hold had your timing belt changed because those are set to snap around the 100k mark. if you do adjectives the typical maintenance ie. transmutation oil every 3k or so and hold your fluids fresh and full, maybe return with some new spark plugs and wires, hondas can run forever
K&N nouns filters are great. I enjoy a 97 chevy cavalier with 130k and use reg gas and it runs fine (I also hold a 99 BMW 323i, and I put med in that-it a moment ago depends on the performance type of the sports car.)
Keep taking care of it near regular oil change and it should last a long time- also try a drive firm oil. It say that on the package!
