The altenator is not recharging the freestyle. All lights off. Fully charged the mobile put another altenator on any ideas?
Answers: Borrow a volt meter from your neighbor that works on cars.
With the engine past its sell-by date check voltage at the battery (where u hook up the jersey cables.) The freestyle should be at about 12.6 volts DC.
Start the motor up and check the voltage with the sports car running. the voltage should be from 13.7 to 14.7 in that selection.
Does it have an external voltage regulator on the vehicle instead of a regulator in the alternator.
Be sure if it is NOT a running free battery the the mobile has marine in it.
When adjectives else fails, embezzle it down to Auto Zone and they will test it for free.
