I need a engine for a 1999 chevy metro with a 1.3l engine.Please can anyone minister to.I either need a engine or somewhere to buy a go back to the beginning kit.Any help is appreciated.

first I'd christen a machine shop and see if it is rebuildable first.
If not, goto like an autozone and see if they can charge an engine for you, if not, try the dealer, and expect to income more than what the car is worth

yo pork chop, a moment ago go check a local junkyard for your cheapest way out. very soon the cheapest way(when it comes to an engine)is not always the best way. what did you do to this engine to generate you realize you need to rebuild or call for a new engine. you will find this to be a very few and far between engine to find.are you doing this work yourself? whew that's a tedious task. modernize kits(gaskets and such) you'll find at any good auto parts store. take a compression question paper to see how bad the rings and cylinder walls are.drop the oil vessel ,take off one of the chief bearings see what kind of discoloration you enjoy. you'll have to do this with the unwanted items yard engine you get also ,purely to see what kind of shape that baby's in. what's the rest of the sports car look like. sometimes it's best just to cast-offs the car and get a different one.it's tough to say without looking at this myself.well-mannered luck.
