I have tried the STOP LEAK thing within the past and ended up replacing thermostats and have to flush my whole system out. Stop Leak and Liquid metal usually stop the leaks, but they also inflict blockages in other parts of the system. If you take appropriate care of your car, later it is worth the time and money to repair it right. If it doesn't matter, and you want to risk shortening the life of your saloon, then you can take the shortcuts.

If your hoses are infirm / cracked Then it will be about 40 bucks in untried hoses + 1 Hour Shop labor. Or do it your self (it's not to hard)
There is an upper hose that is really easy to replace. The bottom hose is for a while trickier to get to, making it a little harder to replace.
It is a nonspecific rule to replace both of them, if one is leaking.
