When the heater is on and i come to a stop the grill blows cold air, when i step on the gas it starts to blow hot nouns again. When i stop with the oven off my vehicle starts to overheat. Does anyone know anything. I am thinking it is the thermostat or water pump. Please consent to me know.
Answers: sounds like you are VERY low on coolant. better hold it pressure tested for leaks
It could be heaps different things like waterpump, thermostat, low coolant, clogged coolant passage, temp sensor reading incorrectly (kinda doubt that one). I would suggest bringing the car to a reputable shop and own it diagnosed. I would first start with have the cooling system flushed, and changing the thermostat, see what that does.
