My daughter owns this car. It will start and inwardly seconds die out. She can restart the coup¨¦ and again it will die. This will happen until the freestyle runs down. She had tried injector cleaner minus any resolution. Before she puts mega bucks into repair, I thought I would try the vast education of the Yahoo community. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Answers: my 02 GTP did this and it completed up being the lower intake gasket. the gasket be shot and causing a fluid discharge and vacuum leak. although the fluid be leaking, it be such a small amount that it evaporated on the hot engine before ever hitting the ground. as it get worse, it would run but stall out if i tried to put it in gear. i rewarded for a full diagnostic to find the issue. cost me about 400 to fix. i hope this help
It sounds like she have a starter problem take it to a motor parts place and have them check the starter. If thats not it after she has a impossible battery but that can become an even bigger problem for her sports car so make sure you own someone look at it first before she screw her engine up.
