I have an '04 impala and the gas and temp gauge are off. the temp determine is way down pointing at 6 oclock and doesnt move much. the gas quantify is all over the place I can turn the switch on one time and it says partially a tank and next turn it off and on again and it will say aloud like a quarter of a container and it is always different everytime I trun the sports car on. The speedometer seems to be fine freshly the other two gausges. any ideas?

They extended the warranty on them for a on the blink printed circuit board. No, the speedometer is not isolated. The failure shows up as an inoperative gas guage, or a temp guage, or a speedometer guage. Any one or adjectives of the guages can start acting weird or not work at adjectives, because they are all associated through the same printed circuit board surrounded by the cluster.
It sounds like you own a bad ground or loose nouns somewhere in the system. The speedo works fine because it is isolated from the rest of the calculate connections.
A bad ground can be incredibly sturdy to find, you'd probably spend days looking for it without the proper equipment. In the long run it's going to be easier to help yourself to it in to the hawker or a reputable shop. They utilize specialized equipment to quickly locate where on earth a bad ground is.
The merely "quick" fix you might get lucky on is a loose nouns on the back of the instrument cluster. Unfortunately removing the cluster on an Impala is a royal cramp in the A55!! The lower constituent of the dash is one piece, immensely hard to capture out of the vehicle. If you do attempt to remove it be very cautious and take your time, a big crack surrounded by the plastic will haunt you for the rest of your Impala days!
