2005 GMC sierra ABS restrained problem??

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra. My ABS street light has be on for several days. I took it to the dealer and they said it will be $150 only just to diagnose the problem, thats just to numeral out the problem thats not to fix it. On top of that I will need to remuneration to fix it (weather its big or small). Still, I dont want to pay this much. I hold checked the brake fluid level of the master cylinder, and thats ok. Next I am going to check the four sensors. I be wondering other than checking the sensors what else can I look for? Is nearby some sort of diagnostic tool I can buy to help numeral this out and do it myself? What else can I check.? By the way my brakes quality fine, I just want the lighting off! Thanks

You can buy a scanner for around four thousand dollars. You have to hold some type of scanner to see what is irritating the ABS module. This will tell you which circuit is coming up as inconsistent. If you can't read the codes, yes get beneath there and see if you can see any disrupt to the wiring to the tiller speed sensors. If you think that's expensive only wait until you see if you inevitability a new sensor or harness.
