Whats the best grease to use within a mercury regal marquis?

2001 vw wolfsburg 1.8t Help?

any name brand will be ok.
1992-newer use nought heavier than 5W30, as the 4.6 V8 is not designed to pump heavier oil, and will lock-up the engine.

Earlier models vary greatly next to mileage and engine size. You should have listed what year model or engine yours is.

you can use a large mileage oil to help grease leaks from starting and it has extra detergents within it to keep the inside of the engine cleaner.

Civiv Type R 2007?

Go by what Lincman say. The 4.6 is made for 5W30 and nothing heavier. Newer motors use light freight oil not like elder cars. Go by what the manuals say.

How do i remove bumper to install...

Personally i would use Pennzoil 5w30, 10w30 is ok too and for some reason i noticed i have alot more gas in my tank after swiching from castrol, it also depends on mileage too, since my dad gave me the car he told me he used 20w50 after the saloon went over 175,000, but i decided to stick next to 10w30 i had 298,000miles before a hit and run totalled it

Answers:    Whats your budget?
Are you going to keep them or trade them off every 3 to 5years?
If you going to save them until the wheels fall rotten use a high quality syn grease Mobil One, Amsoil, Redline, Castrol or Pennzoil.
My preference is Redline 5w20, Castrol 5w20 or Mobil One 5w20 or Mobil 0w20 in extreme cold.
I use the Redline contained by my wife's 2000 Grand Marques. I change the oil every 7500 mile contained by her car we have 225000 miles on it. I use Castrol In my Power Stroke Diesel 150000 miles. I Use Mobil One within our Honda Civic 115000 miles .

Conventional oils I would use Mobil , Castrol, Shell. Kendall or Valvoline. In the past Quaker State , Pennzoil,Texaco, and enjoy not been on the cutting outskirts of oil additives which is where you get hold of the protection from.

A great web site is http://www.synlube.com/oilv.htm if you have further question.
