im looking into buying a new/used car and i would like to buy a beetle. this is base soely on the fact that i like the motor could anyone tell me any common problems associated beside this car ?

Answers: If I could do it over again.. I would get a clean one. I love my car but I wish I know what the owner was like in the past me. I find little things wrong with it. And the older ones own every fragile consoles... Mine is all busted up and I take carefulness of it.

near were some concerns but the same is for any sports car. the bug needs a timing belt checked at 40k and 80k and replaced no later after 105k miles. but I would not go that long. the bug is a great car. You requirement to have fully synthetic oil change every 5k miles. Call Customer care to see if there are any embark on recalls on the car first. the solely known problem was the porthole regulators and the mass air flow sensors and the brake light switch and those be all taken care of by VW if the coup¨¦ was taken care of.

I've put a 100k on one I bought near 50k already. At 150k the only thing central was a wheel attitude, outer tie rods, alinement, $400 for all. If your headlight goes out, buy one from a hawker, others are crap and will fail.
