upon inspecting my dodge ramcharger i have found that the motor in the vehicle is a 340.. immediately i need to know how to determine what the year of the motor is and how much it will increase the value of the vehicle. .. for more detail on this ask check out my other questions
i have a 1968 340 on a stand...on the rite side of the block,simply below the deck,under second spark plug back, it have date cast in resembling this...6 8 68 and on the front of the block straight below the freeze plug,on the left side head is also information wipe.mine reads P 340 EW I also have a info wipe down at the oil pan railing but the stamped numers,i cant make out.anyway's that 340 if it is a 340 mabe worth more than the ramcharger itself...it didnt come in within stock.
