My brother(a mechanic/specifically Pontiacs) said that a 4dr. '70 Lemans would be lighter that a two door because the door panels give the extra support other than a steal support underneath the car(or something to that nature).I have found a '70 4dr. Lemans, near a 350Pontiac,4bbl carb. with a 2or 3sp. auto trans., I'm wanting to turn it into a sleeper coup¨¦ to race out on the outer road of the town I live contained by. Would this car be a flawless car to try out on the "track"(is what they beckon it) or would it not keep up?
only a little something: one of the rules of the "track" is that your sports car has to be a stock engine,but can own modified exhaust(just to make it nouns bad).
