I "inherited" an 81 GMC High Sierra with a 454 and a 4 spd.
It be parked for several years, and the mice have contracted that wiring taste like licorice! It is freshly a farm truck, and I'm wondering if it is worth the trouble of installing a hot harness, or just patching up bleak wires. The only things that work are both headlights, tear lights, and the horn. It is not driven on any public roads, so I am not concerned about authenticity.

Id purely patch it up if your not going to drive it back and forth to work and adjectives especialy if its just a work truck,unless you of late feel resembling rewireing it for a project.
