We just bought a chevy blazer from this guy for 500 dollars. He said it didn't ren that the guy have done work to the fuel system and had crossed wires somewhere. We figure it would be a steal to buy it for 500 and fix that tiny problem and have a great exotic truck. well once we get it home itsturned out a bad concept. no wires were crossed. its a 2.8 L TBI. We own gone through and tried to figure out everything. Seems adjectives areas are getting power in the voltage it call for in the tech book. The gas is getting through everywhere but once it get to the throttle body its not coming out. Anyone have any concept what could be causing this? My boyfriend a moment ago went ahead it put it surrounded by the trading post to sell for in a minute cause we are tired of dealing near it. Ang suggestions would be very accommodating
If it doesn't start, you enjoy to check for spark outputs at the spark plugs. You will also have to check for the actual fuel pressure. I am assuming the motor is okay here, but save or unsure do a compression test. If you enjoy no spark, that would also tell me that the primary ignition is probably out of action as the injectors are fired by means of a tach signal which comes from the ignition. The easiest road to check for primary ignition is to install a test lighting into the tach signal at the ignition coil. Turn the ignition on and the test bedside light should light. Then crank the motor over, the tryout light should blink tremendously quickly. Then chase and repair as nec, as within pick-up coil and/or module.
If it cranks but doesn't start running, you first check for good ignition spark using the spark tester below. If that's ok, check for proper fuel pressure.

Answers: i have have this problem in my shop previously it is one of two things ether the computer is bad or in attendance is a sensor in the distributor that tell the injectors when to fire the distributor is the culprit 9 out of 10 times you can test it by removing it and hooking adjectives of the wires back up to it and afterwards spin the distributor by hand if you don't hear the injectors clicking to be exact the problem
