the nissan gt-r is merely about around the porsche turbo on the nurburgring, infact it might be a lil better. and the nissan is faster around that track against the ferrari f430.
the porsche turbo> ferrari f430 as far as track times.
and the gt3 rs kills the ferrari f430.
but man the ferrari looks devout.
Ferrari F430 better styling, faster, less maintenance because the turbo on Porsche cause trouble more than normally aspirated engines, porsche gets better mileage and Ferrari costs more, but you grasp a lot more from it.
Look what happened to adjectives the porsche 911s, they are falling apart and cost nothing. look up "porsche challenge top gear"
and keep watch on it. As Jeremy says, "The engine is in the wrong place."

911 TurboThis test have been done by a number of "experts", distinctively from Road and Track magazine as well as others. Most agree that the 911 is a better setup than the 430 for most of the road-racing tracks around Europe and the US.
Road racing tracks resembling Watkins-Glen and Le-mans are different that oval and semi-oval tracks like those in CART and Indy race. For those, You might give it to the F430, but Id be hard pressed to authority. Id like to see it first..
Still, Id like to own an F430. I own the Porsche but have never owned a Ferrari.
good luck

Porsche is stupid when it comes to where the engine should be placed.either mid-engine or front engine
the Ferrari would own the 911 turbo since it is mid engine and AWD
ferrari f430 adjectives the way. it's mid-engined and lighter. steers faster and accelerates faster. even looks better.

wow a lot of bs laymens terms style answers... the bottom smudge is that the porsche has become too complicated for its own good, hence the involve for a gt2 rwd turbo 911. the ferrari will handle better and only within the wet will a 911 turbo prevail. a scuderia 430 and a gt2 would be a great race but hangin that engine out fund will get dicey at the limit..

Do Volkswagen's hold AC Outlets?
Answers: Some good guesses here, but alot of misinformation, which I am guessing is largely due to most responders having little to no direct experience near either of these cars or with driving at see tracks.
Both of these cars will be capable at the track, though in stock form both will enjoy issues like understeer (yes, the AWD 911 Turbo has comparatively a bit of understeer, and will still snap to oversteer like any 911... this is not at all changed by AWD and is strictly roughly balance and weight transfer). The 911 doesn't enjoy the balance of the Ferrari, but as someone that has driven oodles 911s at race tracks (probably my preferred car for such), I don't infer the weight distribution alone is a problem (it makes it much easier to induce oversteer to aid counteract the previously mentioned understeer).
When it's all said and done though, the F430 is a lighter car, and one near a better balanced and more rigid chasis. I'd expect it to enjoy a on form 2 second or more advantage around most tracks (and which is what I've generally see at most Open Track events).
EDIT - Regarding Nordschleife lap times... Ferrari has never gone to Nurburgring to try-out their cars, as a result, all recorded laptimes are not by Ferrari drivers (etc etc). And looking over the record F430 times, they are barely better than some recorded F360 times. The Porsche Turbo have recorded times with Walter Rohlr at the back the wheel, and the Nissan times were (as own all of Nissan's runs at the 'Ring) somewhat suspect, with other professional drivers falling okay short of what Nissan achieved (at the very least possible, Nissan was using non-stock tires in their runs). The GT3RS would be much faster than the regular F430 and of course much faster than the 911 Turbo as well.

ferrari. the unsullied 911 turbo has a new AWD system that doesnt allow any form of over or underneath steer until forced like hell the so rear engine in actual fact helps at this point because it gives more grip and grip next to an extreme AWD system give pure handling and then the turbo is faster accelarates faster two have better handling but the f430 is more fun but the turbo looks tons better and is tons more reliable than any ferrari and the ferrari cant go up multi floor car parks and have problems at speed humps but it really depends on your taste
personally psyche have the 911
you idiots the ferrari is RWD you dumbasses im a dumbass and i know this

Both markedly good cars. Porsches vey light so it can take home it go faster but the truth is, the Ferrari F430 is the best. It has great looks and speed. If you want to be amazed, buy the Porsche. But if you want to be stunned. Go for the Ferrari F430.
