i've come across one of these for $350.. it looks great except for the very common paint disappearing... i called the guy up & apparently it'll run but only until it warm up.. & i mean like.. decline warmth.. not over heating or anything... & he can't integer it out so he's only selling it for the price of the parts he's put on there..
..i remember a few years fund.. my grandmother bought a dodge neon around the same year model as this one & hers did just roughly speaking the same thing.. it'd run for a apposite couple miles & it'd go dead. after a few minutes you could crank up & travel on & enjoy another few miles.. after she had the fuel filter replaced & the lines cleaned, that's the best car i've ever seen for the price she remunerated & it's been running for about 5 years beside absolutely no kind of problem..
..could this be matching thing? ..or do you know of any other problem that'll cause this?
i'm gonna turn out on a limb & say it's a 1996.

Also rent a computer read out thing from Autozone or pep boys or Advanced Auto parts where on earth ever it maybe and look at what your temp sensor is reading. I had a 99 eclipse near a 420a(same motor as the DOHC neons) that had this sensor go discouraging and had the exact same issue. It uses this sensor to figure out what the Air to fuel ratio should be and if its blown it could read course at the bottom cold(most likely due to the symptoms) or way at the top. This would basis the engine to flood or die out because your combustion is not working correctly.
well for 350 if zilch else ebay the parts!

Answers: it could actually be like problem with it,i bought one for 150 bucks that was doing that and changed the filter and be driving it around as a beater now for about 6 months,those are well brought-up little cars an for 350 bucks you cant go wrong,the worst thing that you would probably catch in to on that one would be a fuel pump,that's a good concordat,id take it only for something to beat around in,accurate luck.

It sure looks like a fuel filter problem. I would turn for it.
