my '93 nissan altima's dim lights are VERY dim, making it very intricate to see on low beam. i thought the headlight crust may be dirty, BUT, my high beam work fine. so i don't think that's the problem.
could the headlight bulbs purely be old and necessitate to be changed, or dirty?
thanks.
Answers: A. check the voltage on your freestyle while its running. it should be more than 13v. If not your alt may be weak/failed and you just don't hold alot of juice going to your lights.
B. check the voltage at your lights, should be indistinguishable, about 12.5v or above. If not you might enjoy a ground issue, or wire break etc.
C. There is a slight opening your bulbs are done... so change those later should the other stuff check OK
bulbs either work or dont... r u shure low beems r working at adjectives..mayb both out and u r driving on daytime running lites.
