i have a 94 dodge intrepid with 83,000 on it. my grill is that some times the trans dosent engage it will sit there and rev up. it doesnt thing if its cold or at running temp it will just do it when ever. sometimes when i cut the wheel to the right in recent times a bit it will start to move but then not long after it dies out... what do you think?

So, from experience it gets worse if you don't check the fluid regularly and keep up on it. I be told there was a nouns fluid leak at the cooler.
Answers: filch it and have the computer scanned on it first later see what it says about it,this should make tracks a code for the problem if its electrical,or in a sensor,that would be the most logical thing to do,i hold seen a lot of those do that ,those cars did confer problems with transmissions,if you have the computer scan it may tell you whats going on with it,next you,ll have something to work with,suitable luck.
