my 94 grand prix started acting up this week, Idle is glorious, started at 2,000 rpm I cleaned it up and got a hot IACV for it. now the vacant is stuck at 4,000 rpm Looked for vacuum leaks can't find any, also the saloon will turn over for 15 sec before it starts ( when cold ) the motor is a 3.1 any thinking would be helpful.
Answers: i have the same problem beside mine as well. what i did be i drove it for a good ways at a steady speed of 55. and it relearned its self and be ok.
When you put the new IACV contained by , did you take the vehicle on a accurate drive, above 35mph? You have to do this to complete the study cycle.
