I've been told I need a "partially shaft" for this vehicle. What is it and what does it do?
i devise what its refering to is half of one of the cvc shafts. outer or inner.but the last time i be shopping for one, i found the whole shaft and both end cv joint, for less money, than just a partially shaft.

A 1997 XJ Cherokee does not hold half shafts it has a solid front axle beside U-joints. I suggest that you take it somewhere else to have it looked at.
