I have a 1999 Cadillac Seville STS, and i own a bad headgasket.... will the Thermagasket solution fix it ...the website says so and another guy at a junkyard said he tired several things but this stuff worked on his Cadillac Northstar engine.. the website to get this stuff is www.rxauto.com ...they guarantee it or your money spinal column!!
Answers: I own a shop, and what I think is this; It might fix it for a while, but the ending result will be, it will leak again. If you intend on getting rid of the vehicle, next try it out, and if it doesn't work then what enjoy you got to loose? I intuitively have used some stuff call block seal, and it fixed a leak head gasket, and I drove it for years after that short any problems. This was on a stereotype iron engine though. What happens on the Cadillac is; The head are aluminum, and they are really bad to pit, as contained by aluminum's case rot out. To do the assignment right, one must remove the head, embezzle it to a machine shop, and hold it surfaced. To put it back you must know how much the machinist cut sour of it, and use a shim to make up the difference, if it be a lot. Talk to the machinist, as he will know if you can go and get away with it or not.
Glad to oblige out, Good Luck!
Yeah, but they don't pay for the destroyed engine! Just replace the chief gasket. Nothing will work other than doing it right.
