EX, DX, Si, etc adjectives those are called "trims" and they are different for every car businessman. These trims basically are cars that have different option, engines, etc. Your dealer will be able to detail you for sure by checking your VIN number [vehicle identification number]. It is on your dashboard. Just call them and read it wager on to them and they will be able to tell you what year and model your vehicle is.
Answers: ok as for mods look anything beneath american or jdm 6th gen models they should be teh 96-00 model. also if you like jdm look for an ek civic the parts as to interior and exterior will fit on aswell dx and cx are same chasis just different option i think the only difference be power locks, power windows. adn the guage cluster. as to performance mods look by your engine code it should be a D14A2 but im not 100% sure on that i know its a 1.4L I-DSI. but if you can gain the VIN number or call your dealer you will receive that info. if you are on an ej chasis then you can fit up to 19" wheels near a real low pro tire but ride is very discomfited. 18s would be nice. only real differeence from your model to my dx is the engine. i enjoy a d16y8. engine mods will change style wont.
i guess simplified looks your safe on engine dont be in motion by car go by engine code. wheel slip on them 18s with a lowpro and your good. if you get more questions email me to requiem_racing(a)yahoo.com and we will help you out if i dont get the answer someone on my team will be able to.
