Do I call for a rite chip?

I have a 1995 F350, with a 7.5L V8. I enjoy recently added a performance cam shaft and latest lifters, with a new double roller timing cuff, added new valve train ect, and added long tube tri-y headers, I already have a Cold Air Intake and true dual 2 1/2inch exhaust. I was wondering, do I need a conduct chip so the computer can acknowledge these modifications, or should I be fine. It runs very nice and has profusely of power, but I heard chips can help increase the fuel curve, and firm up nouns shifts. any insite would be nice

I'd definitely put a trans temp Gauge on truck to watch fluid temps. That much power could overheat it while towing and ford's trans don't do resourcefully with excessive heat

Mercury Grand Marquis Engine Upgrades?

Answers:    A "chip" is really a goofy outdated dummy term for an ECU reflash...and yes you should get that done. Certain companies resembling Jet and a few others have packages where you dispatch your ECU in the mail and they tune it for your mods. That really isn't the best road to go. I'd call around to a few local tuner shops, and see who have the software to tune your truck. If they don't have anything compatible, you might have to buy a tuner...or even a handheld tuning device and next get on the dyno. With a proper tune and your mods you can see MASSIVE gains if they draw from the tune right. It helps to find a company that is decipherable with your vehicle to do it, or buy the software from a company that does your type of vehicle often and catch them on the phone to help the shop you take your truck into tho procure tuned. Good luck!
