I have a 98 Dodge Dakota next to a couple of problems.
As I'm going to the States/Mexico (from UK) over Xmas, I'm hoping to pick up the necessary parts. It's a 318 (5.2 litre) v8.
1stly, she stalls constantly. when you slow down for traffic lights/junctions etc, drop the clutch, the engine newly cuts out. I've been told this could be the O2 sensor, could anyone confirm this?
2ndly, the radiator takes almost 15 minutes to run warm nouns through the system, meanwhile the temperature measuring device fluctuates between 170 - 230 degrees. Any philosophy on this? Temperature sender? Blockage in the system?
3rdly, below 30mph the speedo is non-existant, as soon as you hit 30 it kick into life. Could this be the speed sensor?
Lastly, does anyone know of any wearing clothes spares shop/performance parts outlets in Mexico city? I want to pick up the parts for the Dodge nearby & also some bits for a Mustang. We're staying in the distrito Federal nouns.

I have a 2002 dakota near the 4.7 and it was stalling to,we cleaned the o2 snsor and it worked great.the other entity is to try and clean the battery-operated cables. try it should work.

Answers: you necessitate to have the computer scan on it that will tell you whats cause that too happen,and hold that one checked real honourable before you be in motion on a trip with it,the scan auto zone will do for free,but if i be you id hold this vehicle checked really good beforehand i went on a trip surrounded by it,you have multiple problems beside that one,good luck beside it,and have a devout x-mas.
