Dodge Spirit using lots of coolant?

I am topping up coolant in my 1990 Dodge three times a week. There are no signs of leaching, had a mechanic look at it, and it's dry underneath the engine. Does this aim that I'm in for a principal gasket soon? There's no 'white smoke' from the tailpipe or other symptoms. Thanks for any insight!

The first two answers are biddable, but also check the passenger side floor board to see if it is wet,it could be the boiler core leaking.

The wet pump may be leaking. A lot of times you won't know it's leak because it's only leak going down the road. When you stop you won't necessarily see anything on the ground. A good pressure testing will reveal it.

It could be a head gasket but I doubt it at this point. You would hold overheating problems by now. If its running suitable and there is no hose in the grease I'll bet on the water pump.

Answers:    if it dry under the vehicle and no white smoke pull the grease dip stick and see if there is any creamy white sludge on the stick indicating sea in the grease . the head gasket can blow into to grease jacket and never get into the cilynder to blow white smoke
