Thinking of buying a 2005 Vue but not sure. Haven't heard to much give or take a few them
Answers: I tried to test drive one nearly a month ago - and it caught on fire contained by the dealers lot.
That be enough for me to see- .
I've owned a 2003 for the finishing 2.5 years. It's a 2.2L 5-spd. My ex-wife owns a 2004 5-spd.
It's not quite a saloon, not quite a true SUV, but I'd buy anther contained by a heartbeat.
Cons: Very cheap plastic feel. Not alot of power. Not rather a Trailblazer or Yukon
Pros: Car like mileage, and maneuverability, Nearly the room of an Explorer. Decent nouns and storage. Curb appeal: more people asked me in the region of owning the Vue than any other vehicle.
Test drive both the V6 and I4. Also look at the 5-spd if you know how to drive one. I love mine. and I don't love things. I appreciate things. So that ought to speak volumes.
If you like the 2005 Vue, you might consider the Chevy Equinox or the Pontiac Torrent. 16" longer wheelbase, and more power. Less cheap looking interior.
But I put in the picture you, you're going to have some type of problem or dislike beside any vehicle you buy. I've had a few problems next to my Vue, but nothing that wasn't covered underneath warranty.
I upgraded my stereo with one from a 2004 Saturn Ion because I looked-for an mp3 player and 6-disc changer. But that's the only upgrade.
You could do alot worse than a Vue.
