Answers: If you're talking roughly speaking an automatic, a 700R4 would fit right in. Its a three speed automatic next to overdrive. It uses vacuum to shift. While the 4L80E automatic would probably fit in it requests a computer to tell it when to shift. I mull over they started using the 4L80E in 1993 but don't quote me on that. Now the 700R4 would be your best bet while I hold heard some bleak things about this nouns it would be the easiest to switch over.
