both air plenty have deployed on my 06 punto impressive. i would appreciate any information on suppliers or easy fix solutions. whats involved etc.

Airbags are particularly easy to replace. You should know how to source some replacements from ebay, breakers yards or pusher. It wont affect the computer, if they deployed as a result of a crash there is a well brought-up chance that the form belt pre-tensioners have gone bad, all these do is appropriate up the slack in the form belt in the event of an catastrophe. The belts will still operate properly and safely in need the pre-tensioners, but again these are very unforced to replace and should be availble from ebay, breakers and dealers. I'm not sure on how to replace the passenger side pouch, but the drivers is as follows: Disconnect the battery and be off for at least 10 mins (this is to brand name sure there is no residue power contained by the car), turn the steering wheel partly a turn and if you put your hand astern the wheel you will find 2 holes any side, these hold the airbag in place. Remove the 2 screw, this maybe a star-bit (Torx) and the heavens bag will come away, obligingly disconnect the wiring. Then re-fit unknown airbag.
