hi i have a fiat punto W reg year 2000
i have merely changed battery over as car not be used for 6 months , dashboard lights up but i get a key code feathery that stays on and i can't start the engine , anyone any ideas whats causing this im pretty modern and a women driver lol
That happened to me on a 03 model and I had to enjoy my two new keys recoded at a cost of lb140.00 This have to be done by a Fiat dealership. Hope this does not apply to yours
Answers: The code will need to be reset by a Fiat dealer, phone your local one, they may be capable of send someone out, rather than you towing the saloon in, as I'm pretty sure it's a "plug in a laptop" assignment.
