What is a good remote start system for around 100 bucks? I hold a 98 Toyota Avalon XLS.
Answers: You probably won't find a good one for that price. I install DEI Valet starts for $175, and that includes the bypass module for antitheft systems. I use the Omega to be precise vehicle specific and doesn't require the customer to 'lose' a key similar to Circuit City and Best Buy does, as they use a generic bypass modules which do require a key to be permantly located up beneath the dash(an insurance hazard I'm sure).
DEI does breed the best starts, including Python, Viper, Hornet and Valet. You pay for what you draw from. If you live in the Philadelphia/Wilmington nouns, contact me.
