Engine Swap?

Answers:    Bill B is right, but you said that both be from Grands.
Sorry, you will have to progress the wheels. Yes, here are adapters as Bill B said, but NOT recommended.
Other options such as shifting axles are cost prohibitive and DO NOT EVEN THINK of grinding clearance!! VERY Dangerous!!
Sorry
Go to some of the custom wheel shops, they will hold take past its sell-by date wheels and you can exchange yours for a reduced cost.

1974 Corvette L82?

Sorry,
The controlled uses a lug bolt pattern that measures 5-127mm(4.75")
The 98 Cherokee uses 5-114mm(4.5")
So they will not interchange.
There are tiller adapters that can allow the wheels to bolt up to the vehicle and they can run anywhere from $50-$400 a set of four. Not recommended though, except for race applications as they move the wheel compensate further away from the frame and this can cause clearance and shaking problems. Not something I suggest doing on your application.
