Honda CRV Air conditioner not cooling well . I took it to the a average Mechanic and he told me that The tensioner needs to be changed to trade name proper ac cooling. Ac is cooling ok but not so good.
Is he right? Does the tenisoner inside the Engine have any relation with the ac cooling properly.

Answers: if the belt isn't tight enough, it won't tolerate the a/c compressor function right, if you are not hearing any belt hum, i would say that the problem is not the tensioner
the crv have compressor problems. take it to your local honda merchant and have them check it out. most of the time you will stipulation a complette a/c system due to metal in the system from the compressor. the biddable news is that honda is covering these style past warrenty.
