I know that the car is antediluvian and gas mileage is horrible but other than that how is the car's reliability. I hear that they have really tough engines that walk up to 250k if lucky. Im about to win one with 65k inventive miles so im taking it. Any info on the car would be great. Also if theres any tips to acquire better gas mileage would help deeply. Thanks
Answers: I own a shop, and think this; It really depends on which engine it have. The small 4 cylinder engines that are in some of them is not that pious, but the ones with the 6 cylinder engines are really tough engines. I individually have a 94 S-10 Blazer beside the Vortec 6 cylinder engine, and I have almost 250,000 miles on it, and it still runs good. We take close to 30 mpg. highway with it, so I reflect it depends on how well one is taken meticulousness of, and keeping the injectors clean have been the nouns of this vehicles longevity. Injectors will stick contained by the open position cause poor fuel economy by letting fuel verbs to go into the engine even when they are supposed to be closed. I install a bottle of (black bottle only) STP fuel injector cleaner into the gas cistern once a month at least. It have throttle body injection, but its still injectors, and they must be kept clean. I also devolution the fuel & air filter, and PVC valve every 6,000 miles.
The difference between a 15, and a full size is not that much. The 15 is a moment or two smaller, but does weigh quite a bit smaller amount than a full sized vehicle.
