Not when you are getting ridiculously awesome fuel economy. I drive a '92 Toyota Paseo that get around 36-37mpg as my commuter. I get made fun of all the time at work but I really don't aid when I'm getting those kinds of MPG's. That is usually my comeback when someone tries to give me crap just about my commuter, "How many MPG's does your car gain?? 15mpgs, ya, I get 37 mpg's, that is when they usually shut up.

Personally I've seen a big male ownership of the Prius due to the high tech content and the miserly fuel consumption. I never thought to ask in the order of their sex preference because it is a private question and their personal persuasion doesn't really issue when it comes to car ownership.
However, if you think that the statements made by a stand-up comic are gospel truth, afterwards according to Jeff Dunham a blue Prius is gay. Then again, he makes up a lot of strange stuff around a Prius that makes me question if he really does own one or is simply capitalizing on the audience's unfamiliarity and myths about the model.
