I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 and it have been sitting for a few months in the cold as i be in florida, before i moved out i checked my antifreeze in august it was full, when i returned from florida within late january i checked the antifreeze it was still full, i drove a few days and checked my grease and antifreeze when i was at a gas station close to my house one AM and the truck was still cold but my antifreeze be low, i added about 1/3 quart and left drove going on for 150 miles 2.5 hr and stopped, later i checked the antifreeze before i not here to go home it was still full right to the top, drove home same distance and parked the truck 3 or 4 days, this wekeend i hooked up my snowmobile trailer and go 250 miles when i checked the antifreeze before i left to come home it be still full? drove home 250 miles truck ran normal, temp guage be normal This AM i went out and started it and antifreeze be pouring out, shut the truck off, still pouring out, its not coming from radiator, no obvi. hose leaks?
How about the marine pump or heater core. they both could leak slowly and do indistinguishable thing. check both and see if they leak. You can do this by going to a radeator shop and they will pressure examination the system, they will find it.

Answers: its possibly coming from the hose pump on this one ,or a freeze plug ,id say the hose pump would be more likely though,when you let one set close to that sometimes the seal will dry out in the pump and consequently when you drive it,they will go out,mine went out after setting for a while also,you,ll obligation to check it to make sure,but that's probably where its coming from,pocket your time and look in under it ,that will direct you to the nouns it leaking from,good luck next to it.
