Mercury Grand Marquis Engine Upgrades?

I have a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis GS stock 4.6L V8 with 200 HP/275LBS Torque. It have the single exhaust not dual. I was wondering what can I do to make it turn quicker. A friend of mine was looking at intakes and said they can add roughly 30 HP. He drives a 1992 Lincoln Town with dual exhaust and has equal specs I do cept 10 more HP (210). I want to get my car around 300 if that's even possible. I know interceptors enjoy 250 HP/297LBS Torque but I wanna make it faster. What can I do to increase power and how much would it cost estimate and how much of a power increase will I get? The engine have very low mileage just below 36,000 miles which is extremely low for a 9 year old car.

The easiest things you can do are this. An intake, and true dual exhaust. Should tag on you between 15-25 hp, and torque. Then get an engine tuner, should add close to 40hp, and 20 torque. Then you start getting at the more expensive stuff, giant flow headers and intake manifolds. Lastly a supercharger. If you did all of those things you should have around 400hp and 500lb foot of torque. Of course it would probably cost you around $5,000 to do all that.
