If this is the 3.1or 2.8 engine then your intake manifold cease seals (RTV) are leaking and in that is a high probability that your oil pump drive trademark is leaking. The drive unit is located directly beneath the throttle body and is mounted flush over the block. When this seal fails, grease will puddle on top of the block next to the top of the nouns. It is bolted to the block by 1 bolt and the top of the unit is round and 2 inches in diameter.its leak out of the distributor plug. When GM switched the 2.8L and 3.1L to MPFI they had to leave the distributor drive within their because it is also used to drive the oil pump off the cam shaft its a adjectives problem but it is very cheep to fix you have to move about to the dealer to get the different O ring that is maid to resist leaking better than the resourceful one it is a red silicon O ring so it will last longer its like 5 dollars at any supplier you could also go to a auto parts store and get a fell pro gasket but it will not closing that long. I have a 1993 Grand Prix with the 3.1L V6 and it be easy to fix.
