My Chevy Prizm also burns grease, what should I do?

I have an '02 Prizm, supposedly duplicate as a Corolla. This car burns a quart of grease in smaller quantity than 1000 miles sometimes. I talked to a mechanic within a Chevy dealership last summer, and he said that it's basically normal for this motor to do this now. 114,000miles. My give somebody the third degree is whether I should keep the saloon, like if this will capture alot worse sometime soon. Also, is it the same as a Corolla besides the radio, chevy symbol, or what else is really chevy roughly speaking it? How many miles can you win out of these cars?

Answers:    I own a Prizm and the same year and it is supposed to take 39 miles per gallon but it does not. The Corolla is probably truly better on gas mileage and more reliable.
