Answers: I enjoy test driven a 4 cyl RAV4 sport 4x4, bright CRV 4x4 EX and I tested the Rogue SL AWD (with premium package) about a week ago.
The Rogue is the most car-like driving. It handle very powerfully and rides well. It seem to be the quietest on the freeway.
I know that a V6 RAV is way more powerful than the Rogue but the RAV beside that engine is a couple thousand more and I don't have any towing within mind.
Of the three, I think the Rogue is plainly the best value, considering the added option the others don't have.
The Rogue I tested be about indistinguishable price as the other two -- roughly $24k-$26k. However, the Rogue had HID (xenon) headlights, intelligent knob and paddle shifters -- the CRV and RAV don't own them even as an option.
I saw a V6 RAV on the lot that have leather, but the price was getting close to $30k. The Rogue also have bluetooth built in, which the RAV have, but the CRV didn't.
The Rogue's intelligent key is awesome. You a moment ago have it contained by your pocket and you can open the doors and start the engine. No more fumbling for your key. HID headlights are way better than standard halogens, too.
It is considerate of hard to see out of the final of the Rogue (you need to use the side mirrors more) but it wasn't frightful. I also have a pickup, so I am liberal of used to that.
I tried out the paddle shifters, but I don't meditate I would really need them contained by normal driving. I guess it's quality of a gimmick. The Bose stereo was intensely impressive. The salesman told me you carry satellite radio for 3 months free, too.
I definitely close to the Rogue the best. I was going to buy one, but the dealership required to screw me over on my trade in and wouldn't come down on the price of the Rogue at adjectives. I am going to wait a while until the "newness" fade a little and I can procure a better deal. I might stir to another dealership, too.
I'm a big fan of the clean Nissan products including the Rogue and the new Sentra on which it's base. Also look at the Honda CR-V and Toyota Rav4 then take home an informed decision.
