i have another cross-question for ya is it pretty rare that a pump starts to discharge is it usually a tourque converter that leaks ?

Answers: Depending on the nouns dodge converters can leak where on earth the shaft is welded on the converter.They can be tested for leak and a knowledgable transmission guy surrounded by your area should know how to do it for a reasonable amount.
It is in fact the pump in the front of the trans so it may appear as though it is the torque converter that is to say leaking. The torque converter is made next to no plugs just one hole where on earth the input shaft goes and it prominently faces the inside of the trans so it cant discharge unless it physically has a hole surrounded by it. Sometimes replaceing that seal will fix the soak but it usaully winds up leak again because there is a deeper problem. I realize I'm not dodgeman (he know his stuff) but I hope this helps
