Pontiac Grand Am model year interrogate?

My wife wants to trade her nice, untried, 34k dollar CUV for a Pontiac Grand Am, because she apparently had one when she be younger, and liked it. I don't hold a whole lot of vote in it, but I like the way the after that model years with the factory ood scoop looked. What are the model specifics, ie. GT, SE, what years, how is the best way to identify one of these things?
Thanks.

Catback vs catless or No cats? what...

Answers:    These factory optioned scoop were single available on GT's and were a seperate substitute on the car, name SC/T
A lot of the SC/T hooded cars were also ordered near a different larger SC/T wing.
These were first available surrounded by the 2005 model year.
GT's had different cladding on the sides, dual exhausts, specific front facia, rocker panel and rear facias, and novel GT badging
You can also obtain the hood through the after open market to fit any Grand Am model.

What is the loudest dual exhaust possible...

Go to the dealer and audition drive new and used ones. I am positive she will close to her cushy 34K vehicle better . The new Grand Am's are immediately called G6's
