So far, the reviews hold been positive overall but I was wanting to capture some first-hand thoughts, as I'm looking at buying a sedan in the spring and I'm considering the Milan, the Altima and the Sonata.

The Altima and Sonata don't have the quality/ reliability that Mercury does, and they aren't available near SYNC: I don't know why you'd even consider them at all.

The Milan is a wonderful car. Do I own one? No. But I work within a L-M dealer and have looked them over relatively well. Good drivers, great build quality. As the comercial say give Mercury a look. Much better car than the Altima or Sonata. The V6 is the better of the two engine choices (more power) but you can solely get a manual trans beside the 4-cylinder. AWD is also available (but only with the V6). I don't chew over that you would be disapointed.
