Anybody racing or driving, own something go wrong near the car that cause you to crap in your pant, and try not to crash?I got a 5.0 near a pro/street aod/2500 stall converter and the regular mods for a mustang that caused the wet pump/timing chain cover to brake across the bolt flanges that made antifreeze come out at a drastically high rate and coat the the flipside tires making them very slick and fish tailed 3 times avoiding the 4ft cement wall and my buddies sports car before i get control of it in the underground streets of downtown chicago where on earth the new batman movie be shot. That was chance.woowee!!
Answers: I have three snatched stories.
1) I had a spark plug chain get over-involved in the accelerator linkage of a 75 Nova SS, cause my gas pedal to jam up in recent times before a red pallid. Heck, I was doing a brake stand lately after I nearly rear done someone. Darn Accel pre-fab wire utensils with extra long spark plug wires! Thank saintliness that I was competent to kill the ignition contained by time.
2) Someone spiked my brake fluid in my '78 Z28 beside engine oil and soon I lost my brakes while reversing out of the school's parking lot and almost hit a parked car beforehand I knew what the heck happen. I know the e-brake was the founder safe, but it freshly happened so nifty and it there wasn't really any hurt asides from a hefty $$ brake system overhaul. The scariest part be losing the brakes, I could have departed the parking lot before the brake ruin and got into a integral lot of trouble.
3) Girls and stupidity caused the scariest one. My friend egged me on to doing a burn out around a corner, so I hammer the gas while slamming the car within first gear. Next thing I know is that I hear this awful noise, the vehicle dropping, and a 50 series rear controls shooting off surrounded by the girls direction. I actually jump out of the car and chased the joystick in instruct to kick it stale course before it run over the girls. All my wheel studs snapped past its sell-by date and my lower quarter panel thrashed because I used a wheel spacer to even out the wide open tires to exactly match the quarter panel pedals lips. Seems that GM didn't weld the palm leaf spring plates to exact measurements, hence a slight offset that be noticeable near wide tires on the rear legs. My poor 78 Z28 was never equal after with the crunched up quarter panel. Everyday, I saw the aftermath and I needed to kick my own butt.
Other than that, it's the usual winter horror stories roughly speaking sliding out of control. Oh, I hydroplaned once and I purely about crapped my pant. Also, I topped out a 88 5.0 and nearly lost control around a bend in the highway.
Needless to vote, I drive with extreme charge and control nowadays. My crazy days are truly astern me. I haven't had a sports vehicle in years, I took away my privilege as I still don't trust myself. Mishaps do evolve, fortunately I haven't even had even a flat tire for a long time. :)
