Sliverado question?

I have a '99 silverado (new '99) and it is making a squeaking hubbub under the front when I am driving around 10-30 mph and later it goes away. The uproar is coming from the wheels, I am thinking it is any the brake pads or retainers dragging or gearstick bearings going out. Can anyone dispense me troubleshooting advise on this to find out what it is? How much does it filch to replace the wheel bearing, does the whole hub own to be replaced costing tons of money or can just the bearing be replaced?

I purchased a BMW Z3 later year,...

Answers:    It's probably the wear sensors that are on the brake pads. The squeal is patent when driving and it goes away when braking. To check only just remove the front wheels and inspect the brake pad, if one of the brake squealer sensors is touching the rotor, you have found your problem. If it is the joystick bearing, which is not too very often, you will hold to replace the entire front hub as the bearing are not serviceable.

your truck take a complete hub, they are easy to do, after the rotor is past its sell-by date, there is 4 15mm bolts that come within from behind the hub, axle nut, and speed sensor, i've lone used gm hubs and they cost around $300
