I have a stainless steel nouns filter on my CAI, is that bad. There is no mesh basically stainless steel. Can anybody recommend a better filter?
Answers: A sock would be better. But seriously a paper towel would work too. Honestly though, spend $8.99 (a) Pep Boys or anything you have and put on a physical filter.
This is a very neat portion of your motor, you will probably want to install a rechargeable air filter. K&N have a great warranty.
