I was at a BMW dealership this past weekend looking for a 2008 328i, but the location have 2007 (not 2008) floor model which is driven for 5000 miles ( i wonder how floor model can be driven for that much) but anyways.
They are offering me a 3 year 15000 mile lease for $464.88/month and will not go down a penny. The 12000 mile lease is round 25-30 less. Do You guys reflect its a good buy? The price they are coming up is as follows (MSRP 35945 - discount 44450=$31500. It's not much the affordability, i can possibly afford the 464 payment, i of late think they should be at least of a mind to bring it down a few dollars.
It doesn't have whole lot of fancy features but enjoy, power front seats, heated front seats and auto nouns.
Some other features: 10 speakers 2 subwoofers. Displacement: 3.0L/183.Engine Type: Gas I6
I got quoted beneath $400 a month, 3k down, 36 months. I live in 90211.
Answers: It has 5000 miles on it because someone has be driving it. It may have been a "brass hat". That is a motor driven by a BMW NA executive. It is also possible it was a dealer service loaner vehicle.
Don't ever shop payments.
You have need of to start over with how you negotiate a lease.
Pick how many miles you expect to drive. Don't appropriate a 12,000 mile/yr lease just to save money. If you drive 15K it will bite you at the wind up of the lease
You negoiate the following items:
Price of the car
Lease Money Factor (MF)
Lease Acquisition Fee (LAF)
You also need to know the Residual.
Find the plinth lease rates on the ask a dealer forum at bimmerfest.com The dealer can dupe up the MF by .0004 and the LAF by $200.
Be sure to make a security deposit. You will reclaim money in the end. Don't construct a cap cost reduction (down payment) If you total the saloon, that money is GONE forever.
Get a lease calculator and check the numbers.
Check a 2 year lease on a new 328i. You may end up paying smaller amount.
For that matter, you should look into ordering a 328 next to exactly the options you want.

One of the best ways to check this lease deal is to ask for the monthly transmittal for a 2008 version of the same model and in the order of the same price, same mileage, etc. The monthly payment for the 2007 should be substantially lower. Otherwise there's no point within going for the 2007 model.Get the numbers (lease price, acquisition fee, money factor, residual) for both deal and run them through the lease calculator on the following web site to make sure the purveyor is being straight with you:
