Sold my car concluding week and quite tempt to buy a Vauxhall Frontera. Is it economical? The engine is 2.2 L . How about excise , insurance and maintenance? Thank you exceptionally much
dont buy it they are rubbish
The Frontera is a particularly fantastic vehicle. It was boring when it be launched contained by the early 90's. The police used the 2.3 petrol model but most models be the 3 door short wheelbase design. It was not a cheap coup¨¦ and not a good actor. It does not excel in any category, it is slow, dull, fuel thirsty, feeble fashioned, heavy, and have a poor 3*** euroncap crash test result.
The diesel model is the best, but within are much better 4X4's around.
Get an old Land Rover, or Discovery or Mercedes Vito or Renault Espace or Mitsubishi Shogun.
Answers: Hell no, lucky to get 25 mpg from that thng, severely unreliable as well. Get a Japanese 4x4 to be exact diesel, much lower running costs and twice as reliable. Avoid older Discoveries as economically cos if they break you need a re-mortgage.
EDIT :-Remember: Steer clear of any elder Discovery or Freelander - I've owned both to my peril (new ones are great but cost 20k+)
I might buy an oldsmobile Alero...?
dont buy it they are rubbish
