i have a 95 dodge run into 2500 with the cummins engine and four rudder drive. i would like to install front tow hooks on it. the salesperson could install official mopar ones but it would cost almost 400 dollars. i can buy cheap ones at NAPA but where on earth would i mount them? they are just a simple bolt on hook.
or should i jump with the officer ones even though they are very expensive?
Answers: you can go and get any after market set for it ,even surrounded by a chrome ,and they will look and work well,at hand a lot cheaper than 400 bucks,that's tough to believe that a dealer would want that much for two hooks,you,d assume they would give you tow hooks after buying a truck from them,most of those are a simple bolt on ,resembling on most trucks,two nice ones wont even cost 50 bucks at a parts store,and your time installing them,that's a lot cheaper than 400,flawless luck on it.
I would go to a wrecking patio and get the tow hooks and bolts Make a few call, ask them how the tow hooks are mounted. The hooks from NAPA should have mounting instructions.
