Diesels usually respond very very well to ECU mods (most of the power increase comes from using higher level of turbocharger boost), however, VW tends to program their ECUs contained by such a way that it is difficult to gain any more than stock boost levels. Your best bet is to shop around and look for dyno-proven results. Bear contained by mind that your primary gain in diesel mods is going to be more torque, not horsepower.
