Whats wrong beside my Jeep?

Ok. I have a 1988 Cherokee Laredo, 2WD, 6cyl. I go to go out to start it yesterday and it wouldn't start! It turns over, and the fuel pump kick on, I don't know what the problem could be! I've only have it for 4 months and its only died on me twice, but started right pay for on. Apparently its not getting enough fire to start. Could it be my starter? Spark plugs/wires? (which i in recent times replaced 3 months ago) what could it be?

Well checking the plugs to see if in that is fire is easy.. Just hold one to metal while someone turns it over.. Use something near rubber gribs to hold it. If you see spark then it's not spark.. If you see nought.. move up the wire to the subsequent culprit.

could be several things. Look at the fuel lines, are they clogged?
Look at the fuel filter, and replace it!!
it would not hurt to do a tune up on it either...
Might be the injectors, but if your Jeep have a carb, it could be that it needs to be cleaned. You could enjoy a vacuum leak somewhere.
My counsel to you is to have a mechanic look at it.....

Answers:    Check to see if your getting spark, if there is no spark, it could be the coil that go bad.
